Eagle Class took their English lesson outside, revising their understanding of paragraphs and cohesion using information about the Ancient Maya.

This week, the children in Falcon Class have been putting their clay sculpting skills to the test to create clay masks inspired by the Ancient Greeks.
As part of our science learning journey about Earth and Space, the children in Falcon Class investigated the rotation of the Earth by measuring the movement of their shadows across the school day. They had to plan their experiment, make predictions and collect data - applying all of the working scientifically skills they have learnt this term.
Mrs Jones has ordered us some lovely new books to add to our wonderful stock in the library. Keep your eye out for them next time you visit.
During an active maths lesson this week, Kestrel class have been focusing on correspondence problems.
We had a fantastic experience before Christmas, when some of the band members from the Royal Marines visited us for a Christmas concert. The children were completely immersed in the experience, enjoying every minute!
